Rol Thunderbird (Thurn-O-Graph) started in 1953 with 6202. Initially it was quasi Sub ))
Later rotating bezel was part of Datejust family. Of course, Rolex has priority for rotating bezel I'm not sure, when did V&C started to produce 6782 (my is from 1964), but definitely it was after Rolex release... WBR Serge

The earliest I have recorded is of 1963 manufacture, with a gold tapestry dial and baton hands. I see you have the original certificate of origin! Aside from dials, cases for the 6782 were also varied, including yellow, red, white gold, and rarest teardrop lugs :-0

In addition to yours with vertical indexes, some other dial variations are very pleasing like this with horizontal indexes and inset onyx...
And just to conclude with another unusual variation are those with "Automatic" in script...

I think, the idea with the rotating bezel was quite popular at that time... But in V&C used just this idea, on the last pic we see direct copy-paste )))

In Msk VC boutique I've been told, this second buckle seems to be original according to database, but there is no info about shape, only the size (20 x 14 mm).
