And sold my Anniversary 160 after a year of ownership.

A few weeks ago, I corrected the mistake, securing one of the last remaining samples direct from the UN Factory.  I tried several times to acquire a pre-owned piece in recent years, but for various reasons was not satisfied with the samples I found.

Now, I am satisfied.  More to come on this watch, for, sure.

You have an important piece of horology and history, Michael, but YOU know that!

The 160 will remain unique, in its kind, since the 118 replaced it after a short, very short life, and only one watch to house it, this watch.

I will not repeat the error.  Seems like we are both picking up model "6"s these days ;-)  Not so sure the others are appropriate here!

But it can be summarized as BEAUTIFUL!

Is always a pleasurable thing, especially when it involves this iconic and beautiful piece.

It is a truly original looking watch on many levels. I love what I can see of the movement. I was not aware that the movement was so unique as well. Looking forward to the bigger picture on this one.

There is a lot of importance behind the Caliber 160.  It really is an icon for UN.

Great looking watch, I don't think I have seen this model before.  Really suits your wrist.   I am surprised after 6 years that they did not sell out of the LE.

A RG cased model of 500, and this WG version of 500.  Both were offered on strap or bracelet.  The RG has been sold out for some time; I have it on good authority we are down to about single digits remaining on the WG version.  Credit to UN and the watch - while it might have taken a while to complete the edition, all pieces were made and it is one you seldom see advertised.  A keeper for almost everyone brave enough to buy it.

... and I also think the uniquely shaped case did not prove to be very popular. I think it will be one of those pieces that becoming massively sought after a few years from now, when, all of a sudden, collectors re-discover their appreciation for this gem.

As Nicolas already stated, the Anniversary is a unique timepiece, as is the Dual Ulysse escapement, which is otherwise only employed in the various Freak models. Above that, it is simply a really beautiful timepiece, with its special case shape and the blue stripes on the dial.
