Here are some wristshots of my favourite travel watch.

No need to travel into different time zones to enjoy it, the Sonata being, ALSO, an Alarm Watch.

Waking up in a middle age minster with its delicate alarm sound is just delicious.



Visiting an old castle ( Meung Sur Loire ) adds some class to the Class, too.



Writing some extra pages of an already consistent love story is pure joy.

Great watch with such a complex dimension.

It is not everybody's taste, and like a piece of Art, it can talk to you, or ... Not.

I must admit that it talks very loud to me, in this case.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I prefer your version to the latest I saw at Basel. I find it more elegant and surprisingly enough, more original.

I have yet to see one in the flesh, but you're driving me towards pursuing that...always dangerous.

This is not an everone's taste watch. It is so particular, so special.

But to try it is to adopt it...

Excellent, Nicolas.

You know, all the years I have lusted a Sonata, I have been drawn to the darker dials, both the grey and the blue.  But I think your silver is the most wearable, and certainly accentuates the beautiful blued elements.  If I were to ever grab one, it would be a silver dial Cathedral or a Silicium.

As always, thanks for the photos of these complicated UNs.

I hesitated a lot with the blue dial.

After all, Blue is a natural color for U.N.

But this very one came first, one of the first to be delivered in France, by the way, and it was an instant love.

So, I bought it... And I don't regret it.

And you know what? It is still on my wrist, while I type these few words...

Certainly one of the best looking dials I ve ever seen .. Never paid much attention to this one until seeing that first picture of yours. 

Beautifully sharp pictures Nicolas and you know I love this watch.  I am not sure the alarm could wake me up in the morning though, especially after a couple of glasses (probably bottles) of vino and a delicious french meal.

I don't think so.

But to alarm them in an elegant and poetic way, yes!

To wake you up, you have your cell phone, your Radio Alarm, or ... Your wife!

Thank you for sharing your great wrist shots!  I keep my Sonata on a winder and it is not my wake-up alarm unless I m travelling.  However, each morning when I walk past my winder, that beautiful dial always wakes me up as the light bounces and shimmers off of its many surfaces!

I rarely wear one watch all week long, and there isn't a week in which I don't wear at least four watches.  I keep the Sonata on the winder because it stays in the rotation.  Nonetheless, I totally agree with your response.   BTW, I still haven't worn these yet!

Can you take pics of each of your 3 Astronomicla marvels, and make a separate post for each of them, please?

I love them so much, and I know I am not alone, here.
