I started building up my collections from 2003, and I admit that I rush things up rather quickly. I completed my 5050s in three years, the last being the white gold. I used to try to make a set of most ref, but I gave up and now thinks that is unnecessary, except what has already been done; 5050's.Again,thank you all and may GOD bless you all. Warm regards
great collection, very good choice , and stunning watches

Love your collection. Given your special 4 roman 5050's, please share with us how you would compare each. Personally I have worn 5050 in RG and PT and have to say I prefer the PT (perhaps largely since I am a white metal guy). But the RG 5050 is one of the most beautiful watches ever made. Like you, I also prefer the roman dials.
Do each of your 5050's have precisely the same color dial?
And remind us if your 5050's were from the original production run, or partly from the cases "found" at the end of the run.
One more question-I- note on various 5050's that some have a smaller font for the day and month, others a larger font. I assume the larger font are later watches. Do you note any difference in the font size on your watches?
Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection!
I personally love my 5050P or 5050G since I am also a rather white goldish guy, but agreed the 5050R gives you that warmth feeling and old classic vintage look on the 5050. So it depends with what you wear, wear a chic, trendy clothing; P/G will suit you, once we wear that old favourite T shirts of us, wear the 5050R I guess?
The dial colors are mostly the same except perhaps due to reflections of the inner casing back to the dial( lighting conditions), the yellow and rose may gives you that orangy tone to the silver opaline dial.
My two 5050R and J comes from the last run from the boutique, since it was purchased after they were discontinued.
The font and size of older models tend to be smaller but you can request to change it if you like the bigger fonts.
I hope the above info are usefull, warm regards
For me personally, I prefer my 3448 since I think it has the most beautiful symmetrical dial and simplest to read of all perpetual calendar PP.
Beautiful is the only word i can say! Great family you have there! And the 5070P is still the most gorgeous one!
Cheers
Stephen
