New models
Patek released the new model for W&W. I would not comment the perpetual Cubitus nor the LE Nautilus for the anniversary.
Out of the new models, I love the classic calatrava and the lady variations, as well as the poetic Fox and the Crow.
Any thoughts?

The Patek Philippe releases are somewhat quiet and subtle this year - but the new Nautilus is a solid piece - not overdone, 240 caliber. Well done. Bravo. I really like clocks, and I really like Nautilus - however, that clock wasn't really a Nautilus. A Nautilus watch by definition has that "hinged" case design - this is a core part of its DNA for the past 50 years and part of its core design. This clock doesn't really have the hinged case at all - it's just a clock in the shape of a Nautilus - it has ears, but no hinge mechanism within the ears. I hate to say it, but the clock is missing a core DNA. The Nautilus watches, the time-only watches you mentioned, as well as the Golden Ellipse are very strong offerings from Patek Philippe! I look forward to the Grand Exhibition in Milano where we will see even more amazing artistic pieces! Italians love opera - I am already imagining the Nautilus window as a view from my box to the stage at Teatro Alla Scala. What's going to be performed? Madame Butterfly? Cosi Fan Tutti? Prince Igor! Okay, maybe not - since it's not a very Italian opera.

I have Cosi Fan Tutti, Pagliacci, and Romeo and Juliet stationary - from Florence! La Traviata will be playing in Milano during the Exhibition this year.
The one that shocked me the most was the limited edition Nautilus 5610. I never expected them to have a 38mm platinum non-date version.

Technically it's a Cubitus. The 5840 is the Cubitus perpetual. 5740 is Nautilus perpetual.
And the 5840 isn't my favorite neither.

I wish they had made the 6196P with a date instead of giving the 5227G the salmon treatment...
That being said, the 6196P and the 5227G could easily be the best Calatravas since the launch of the original reference 96!

dateless 2 hand nautilus in WG, and
the WG calatrava - I think they improved the case by making the bezel thicker.. looks much more harmonious now than the previous 5227s.. not so convinced with the black hands and indices though
Agreed. 7200 has always been a good looking watch!
The 7200 is the only "classic" piece that isn't overdone. That minute repeater with the blue and orange dial is a tad bit overdone; and I never liked the 6007 dial upon which the new minute repeater is based on; I always said that if the 6007 didn't have Patek Philippe written on it, people wouldn't like the design. The Golden Ellipse looks good in green.
The weird and futuristic Celestial is growing on me.
Not saying I'd buy it. But, when I first saw the new Celestial, I didn't like it. Now that I've seen it a few more times, I'm starting to warm up to it. It's very futuristic and very not-on-brand for Patek Philippe. But at the same time, some parts of it is done well. If it lost the date, it might look even better! Still like the 5102 Celestial the most though.
