Not sure if that designates a beater! I certainly wear it carefully since it actually belongs to my wife. She presses me to wear it and it's a pleasure to do so. Best, Robert
I'm sure she doesn't have to press you too much... hehehe

Nice outfit! I also wear suit and tie to the office everyday. Not many people do anymore, and no-tie is the new trend for those on suits, but I like to keep it classic 😉
Fact is, when I'm wearing it - absolutely nobody knows it's there because I don't want to minimize exposure to doorways, corners, desktops, etc. Best, Robert
Patrick, in my office building... I'm trying to quietly start a revolution! :-)

Dressing like an adult would in the 1960s. I started slowly with dress trousers, smarter shoes, button up shirt. Then later I'd add a navy sweater. The next week add a tie. Then trade the sweater for a navy jacket but no tie. Then eventually a tie. Then no tie but a pocket square. Slowly I'm seeing a small percentage of other men finding courage to dress a little smarter and I compliment them. Shaping behavior carefully, slowly! Best, Robert
I'd like to support your cause! Let me know when you run for political office and have a PAC!

The way people behave in public now is appalling! People put their feet on upholstered seating EVERYWHERE! I can see why the Japanese are at odds with many tourists since so many tourists are so poorly behaved.
Yes Patrick, the careless casual unprofessional even childlike behavior in public these days is shocking

That's why I believe acting and dressing like a classic gentleman is rebellious and actually gets more noticed than someone being a sloppy jerk. Best, Robert
The pandemic accelerated societal behavior degradation. And now, even the wealthy, powerful, and highly educated are behaving badly in public - or even in public office!
Here's a scary photo of an airport lounge I recently encountered!
I'd like to say that's disgusting however you should see the crazy pajama outfits at

Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA airports. Full pajama outfits with furry slippers, shower caps and very loud, disruptive behavior. Have travelling by air these days! :-(
Your description is horrendous and gives me the heebie jeebies! Yes, I do see people wearing pajama outfits on the West Coast of USA too. Just horrid. I just tell myself I'm saving the planet when I take public transportation! Makes me feel a little bit better. I blame the airlines; the airlines should have prescribed etiquette and protocol. United Airlines is going to start banning people who don't wear headphones and loudly play music. United, that's long overdue! DO NOT WEAR a scratchy and noisy nylon ski jacket and sit next to me on an airplane. Every time you move, I have to hear your jacket make scratchy sounds!
