My point is that because I will never own it, I will never have to suffer from it failing me! As J K was saying, this is a way in which it's actually better to admire the beauty from a distance.
As I recall there were some issues with the early 5004s. Then modifications were made to the movement. The earliest 5004 is #879,500. The watch you post seems clearly

to be an early one as evidenced by the blue/yellow moon disc.. Later ones are black/silver. Anyway, a great watch, although personally I prefer (and I say this as a former owner of 5004P), 5970. Proportions, comfort, tachometer and overall look. Best, Patekova
