Very interesting how in order to eliminate the vibration of the chrono hand, PP designed the hand so it was getting progressively thinner away from the pivot point (please see the arrows in the last image)

.....and yes, while I enjoyed the Platinum watch TREMENDOUSLY
....I was one of those crazies that sold it and bought the Steel 5960/1A that I now wear on a strap 😎
No regrets at all and my aging eyes certainly appreciate the improved contrast and legibility 👍👍
That's a surprising move, but why not, if you feel more comfortable
with the steel version? Predictably, my personal favorite variant is the rose gold one.

And I am with you totally as for your move towards the steel version with white dial. Cool, more modern, and much more legible.
