All my favorite watch complications in one watch, really lovely. On so many pictures the dail looks white, here it is Silver. Was the first model offered with different dail colors? Does somebody knows? Cheers , Martin

And just love how the hue of the dial changes from grey to almost white depending on the lighting.
Also I fail to grasp why this seems to be the least favourite version of the 5270 (if preowned prices are anything to go by): I could understand why some prefer the 5270G-018 (3rd gen) but if a tachymeter is a must then the 5970 looks better imho, and the 2nd gen 5270G-013 with the chin doesn't appeal to me at all. Of course this is all very much down to personal taste.

I agree with your points. I always tend to ignore what appeals to other people. The 001 is my favorite and other people’s feelings (good or bad) about it will never sway the way I feel about it or anything else in my life 👍
