I have become intrigued by and smitten with the 5370P, particularly the blue enamel dial version, which I find to be spectacularly beautiful. I have seen it in person
so I am not relying on images which can be misleading. The fact that it houses an extraordinary movement and complication only adds to its appeal for me. So, you might ask “what’s the problem, other than the hefty price?”. The problem is I have a small wrist, about 6 1/2 inches, and I have not spent wrist time with the watch. I know it is 41mm in diameter with a height of 13.56” but what I don’t know is how it sits on the wrist, particularly a small wrist. I know it is invariably described as being a “big” watch. I also don’t know how I might feel about it overall over time if I acquired one. So if any forum members own or have spent time with either version of the 5370P, I would appreciate knowing how you feel about its size and how you like it overall.

Most Patek wears pretty compact/quite well IMO
Not a problem at all for that wrist size. Maybe check out some of Tim Mosso's videos and see how some of the watches you already own look on him VS this watch & infer from there.
Thanks for the suggestion. I did watch one of the videos, which was helpful and I enjoyed it as part of my learning more about the reference.
Still, far from convinced that its size will actually work for me. From my experience, how something looks on a wrist in a photo or video doesn’t necessarily mean it will be comfortable to wear. Eg 5905, particularly the steel bracelet version feels too big for me. Hopefully some day I will get to spend a bit of time with one before possibly committing to a purchase.
I've tried on a friend's black version...
...and it seemed to be a bit top-heavy on my 7.25" wrist. But very beautiful. If they could make it in A it would help I think...

Only for a very brief moment. Not enough time to draw a conclusion. Particularly because of the possible size issue if I become serious about acquiring it
I will need to spend wrist time with it first.
My friend favors platinum watches...
...and even though I have a large-ish wrist (larger than his) they often feel unbalanced. But I think that could be remedied by getting the right strap fit that puts the watch directly on top of the wrist with no 'pull' from either side, if this makes sense...
It makes total sense to me and thanks for the advice. I have a 5970P which is fairly large and heavy. I wear it with a custom PP strap
and it is quite comfortable for me. So maybe without thinking about it I have applied your suggestion😊

...your 5970P is listed at 40mm and 13.5mm. Really close to the 5370P. With a custom strap I think you'll be fine : )
I have both blue and black. both beautiful but if I can only haver one I prefer blk
my wrist is flat on top 6.5" it sits beautifully and is not top heavy. but if your have rounded wrist perhaps it turns as it's platinum, thus heavy.
I also have 5970 and 5370 for sure wears larger.

If you can wear the 5970P, you can handle the 5370P...what is 1mm and a few grams?
You're not wearing it for prolong period of times, just like handling precious antique China, delicate (don't drop it!!), touch, wipe it soft cloth, wear it on the wrist, look at it once a while, press the buttons.
When you're wearing it, for black tie events, or other social events, probably you'll forget it's there, but it will remind you...then you focus on the conversions or other shows etc.
Occasionally, you take it off, look at the movement, admiring it....How hard can it be?

The black is spectacular but way too formal for me. The blue can be dressed up or down. I spent 3 weeks in Italy with my wife recently and the blue was a perfect companion on my wrist

Also I was there to play in a tennis tournament so we were mostly either at the tennis club or private residence so quite safe. I am not sure I would recommend walking around Rome with the 5370 on your wrist wearing a T-shirt! I think the key is to be aware of your surroundings when you travel… the white metal is definitely more discrete in comparison to yellow or rose gold!
Pretty exciting traveling to Italy to play a tennis tournament. If you don’t mind my asking what tournament was it and how did you do?
Why not make a trip out of it and
go to the Geneva salon and try it on in person before spending a quarter million or so on a watch. I did try it on at the Geneva Salon and loved it. It is top heavy and the 5270 fits better imo but I also have a large wrist of 7.75 inches or so

Photos on my 6.5 inch wrist
I also have a 6.5 inch wrist, and I think it fits perfectly on my wrist. It does have heft, but I don't find it unwieldy and the size has never felt too large for my wrist. The top of my wrist is pretty flat, so depending on the shape of your wrist you may have a different experience. As a point of reference, when sizing the factory-supplied strap I use the next-to-last notch.
Here are some photos, but keep in mind that the perspective of these close-up photos exaggerate how large the watch looks on the wrist. In person it isn't off-center and the 12 o'clock lugs are not hanging off the wrist like it may appear in some of the photos.
