Race 2 - Miami
A bit late, but here are a couple pics from Carrera Cup North America Race 2 on Sunday, which was right before the F1 race.
Finished 5th, which was ok for me - but more importantly, didn’t hit anyone or anything!

What is the t-shaped meter with the blue colored highlights hanging from the roof of the car? Quite an inspired choice for a race watch........
In car video camera - Helps with interpreting data from the car, as well as helps the stewards if there is an incident on track.
Looks like you ordered your 911 with “leather interior delete.”😂

I have also a weak spot for Toyota. It feels so good they won LeMans.
It felt good Porsche won LeMans.
This edition i hope Corvette will get a nice LeMans victory, but the Porsches wil be very competitive.

Toyota is still crazy fast in WEC Hypercar - they took 1st & 2nd at Spa a couple weeks ago - It will be interesting to watch
the Garage 56 entry from Handricks Motorsports at LeMans this year. They were testing as the same time as us at Sebring earlier this year - here’s a pic of the car - it’s a BEAST!

I was looking forward to your pictures from race #2 -- the first one is likely the coolest ever taken of this spectacular 5990/1R! ;-) Thanks for sharing such a nice and fun event with the forum.

I didn’t know or expect that the inside of your race car would be set up like a space shuttle. Does the function of that long silver tube have something to do with modulating the temperature of the engine?
The silver tube is an air hose that has a magnetic mount and attaches to the bottom of my helmet to blow fresh air on your face - it gets really hot in the car!
