This Pt Malte chrono PC with this dial is for me the pinnacle of VC, top of the top 👍.
And the 5970 ! Ah the 5970 is in my dreams all the time. A beauty in all versions but the Pt and the R are my favorite ones (from the regular series)

Absolutely amazing, this Padellone is just incredible, and your 5970 is... not less incredible !!! 
To top this one with a 3448 will be a really difficult challenge I have to admit
But with other watches than a 3448 I don't know. There is some very heavy stuff here above also. And a nice 2499 or 1518 would be nice stuff too...

Two takes on Patek perpetuals. The much loved 3448 and the not much loved 5496. Not quite full moons - a little late and a little early. Love your 1st series 3448!

Yes thanks not only the dial of this early series is incredible but also the original PP crown on a 3448 is really very rare, it brings a big smile on my face every time I look at it…
Thanks Mike for your kind words. IMHO your 3448 is firmly in the vintage category. My late 3448 seems to straddle vintage and modern.
