the only thing i dislike about it compared to the WG one is the finishment of the platinum case. Its less sharp and looks like a repolished one compared with the WG one.

Yes, I did notice and discuss with Patek watchmaker. It was impossible for the case-maker to cut the platinum stepped edges as smoothly and sharply as all gold versions, thus special individual hand polish was required to finish the edges in the final polishing procedures. It was a very time consuming and "dangerous" polish work. Maybe one of the reasons why Patek was very reluctant to produce more 5070P compared to 5970P.
Yes, I notice that case step edges of other gold 5070s are very sharp without any visible sign of imperfection caused by hand polish. Truly didn't expect that before. [nt]
