Hi folks,

Something struck me after TM  inspired me for a theme "NUMBER PLATE",I notice that are millionsof creative number plate out there.Some indicating their name ,initial,places and some are funny plates such as K155 stands for KISS,AK47 and BD55 goes fo BOSS and many more.

If you have some special an creative ones,please share with us by posting along.

I dont have any shots to share but being in the same country I understand where you coming from. However I think it differ in other country as their plate may have alphabets after the number, that said its still possible to have some special / meaningful plates around.

Btw, thats a SL 63 AMG in your picture, I saw that car before too. His number font reminds me of Porsche Design, not sure what is the owner's significance though.

.. ... you have cool number plates ... where i live (Belgium) you pay a lot of money for a personalized plate and it always starts with a 9 .. so you can spot the sucker that payed too much for a piece of metal ..

We have been talking for years for that but some how they "policy makers" really sucks.....

Couldn't think of any cool plate idea so didn't bother to get one this time.

When I was a kid, a Porsche 911 owner in our street had: HOT911. Pretty obvious I guess, but at a time when personalized plates were uncommon (mid 1970's) I thought it was pretty cool. I mean hot.

Others: RUNVS (are you envious) and BNKRPT (bankrupt).

Being a lover of the 3-pointed star, when my kids offered to get me a personalized license plate over here in Canada, I had a difficult time chosing the right phrase.  Our laws prohibit any suggestion of speed or illegal activity (like drug references) and a committee reviews all applications.  I submitted BLITZEN (German for lightening) in recognition of the tremendous history of the Blitzen Benz automobile that held the land-speed record from 1909 to 1919.  Not surprisingly, the committee send back a letter asking me to explain the meaning of this word but my response was simple; "one of Santa's reindeer".  The plate was approved and is proudly worn on my 1994 M-B E500.

There is a car in brighton with the plate TIGEK but one of the screws for the plate is between the points of the K so it looks like an R (they've also [painted the screw black)

Similarly was at gatwick airport and someone had done MY TOY using the screw - but it was actually MY TUY.

My mates have the plate 55 HAN for Shan, M44NEC for Maneck.

I assume qutie a few of you may have heard about the 2BG2FAIL plate in the US belonging/ed to Morgan Stanley VC Rob Kindler after the economic crash.

I currently am waiting till I see something good to dive in and buy a personal plate.
