Had to have been like 20 years ago.
The 959 was only around 4x the price of the 996 C2 but has since eclipsed it's price today. I think the 996 C2 probably still sells for about the same price today and well the 959 is nowhere near this advertised price.
I purchased a 959 in 2008 at about that price
drove it half a year, spent huge amounts for maintenance and sold it without loss but also without gain.....
