One day V10s will be regarded as something really special!
They have a shrill that the V12s don't have. The uneven firing order of the 90-degree V10s is definitely one super exciting sound that is just not the same in the smoother sounding V12.
A very unique Porsche
The GT is in every aspect a very special supercar.
Not the fastest and best handling, but belief me when you can collect Porsche GT’s, do it.

I love top down driving, I would definitely throw in an F50 too, I'd make an exception for a miura as a coupe 
And it had a titanium engine!
Curious if a manufacturer will ever again do something like this one. Simply amazing.

this car is really ugly - interior, instruments, headlights, tail. So much of the weird 996 DNA in the design.
The engine is impressive, but the transmission dangerous - no wonder they could not produce the whole lot at that time with this package... My dealer sold two and I was able to inspect them a lot and later on even drove another one.
Not sure about "ugly" but it is not one of the most beautiful supercars.
That said, has anyone had one or driven one? A friend did and I have driven it often at the race track. Saying it's a handful is an understatement and driving it on the streets is close to impossible. YMMV, of course...😉
Maybe for a pro it is but I've had a lot more fun driving much lesser cars on the track.
No I would say it's an extreme supercar with little or no forgiveness
A GT would be a lot easier, IMO.
I drove one and it was even more difficult than my previous 959
which I sold in less than a year for zero street credibility
at least in my region it rains quite often
and a 959 was 20 years ago around 150kEuro so the idea of driving it regularly/daily pretty soon vanished because in the rain those two registers are not manageable imo. Take it to the Sahara (with its Dakar set-up) or to California or on track in any sunny weather with temps above 10 degrees celsius and its lot of fun. But not with those assumptions I made some 20 years ago...
