I’ve been fortunate to have plenty of seat time in the big 6’s over the years including E28s both M and Alpina. I've been missing a coupe over the past few years so this one will fill the bill.

It really is fun to drive, a nice mix of GT and sporting coupe. It should be good for long tours and TSD rallies. I'm already having non-TRX wheels and tires sourced so that I can keep the metric TRXs for show.

But not a cheap one. I can’t imagine what they were thinking.

Did you go with 16 or 17" wheels? I'm looking at BBS RS or Alpina wheels in 16" and those Pirelli P7 Collezione tires.

I think they're a good size for the car. I like the wheels you're deciding between. Please post an updated photo if you do get new wheels.

This M "6" breed is still winning races in Germany against other top cars.

It's fast on the straights that gets you in trouble. More fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow, anyway.
