I will start:
Call me crazy but I'm attracted to anything that has ... hands or needles.
I don't collect those. I just acquire the object, play with it and sometimes I use as a photo prop.
Here we go.
I don't have a clue about this object. It seems to be some sort of map meter but I'm unsure.

Funny about pool: I gave it up (of necessity) around the time of Carter's presidency, and didn't take it back up until late in Obama's first term, a decades-long gap.
