Hi Yes they're both plastic - the diver in clear plastic I've had for about 5 years , been robust & not had any issues with it. If you look for Emas watches on Web you'll find site. They also do ceramic versions. Cheers. JML

i have the black ceramic with blue dial and bezel and i havent been overly impressed i'm very sad to say. the bezel is very loose, the crown went bonkers and i had to return it for repair. i wish i'd gone for the clear model as the alu ceramic is ... 

Hi Graham Thats disappointing - no matter how much or little you pay - you don't want your watch to have issues. My clear one has been fine - its been wear and forget really. Don't wear it often - but when I what something a bit different it fits the bill...

I was just playing around with Panasonic GH3 with my 45 mm F2.8 macro, stopped down at F22 @ ISO 200. The vintage rose dial color is difficult to capture. ...  

... color is always difficult, in other words, lighting and white balance are always hard to adjust..... But you have done a great job! Nice one. Thank you! Ken

That was a seriously high tech piece of kit in 1964, the year they invented the computer mouse and the 8-track cassettes. A piece of history from the era of mini-skirts! This is my first, but I am seriously on the hunt for more, especially from the 60's l...

quite a complicated dial to read Ken. i have the original Ollech & Wajs earlybird as well as this homage. i do wonder what the pilots initially thought of these 24 hour dials in the 60's. best G
