P.P.S. I also took a picture where she was trying to eat my SM300, but I thought that might be to vulgar for this forum....

But the Seamaster 300 is almost a bit aged to still be accepted as a baby, isn´t she
?
Kind regards,

Puh guys, a heavy task this chain scan is: you have hardly managed to get your pic and are outdated already!
This shot follows #2 as on Hans´ pic the first two watches cannot be seen at all (sorry Hans). I had my trouble as well, but improvised a bit with a cable ...

Have a nice weekend everybody,

Hi Fernando,
what is the significance of "vampire watch"?
I guess it is neither biting nor blood-sucking. Is it its darkness you are alluding to or has it something to do with our Parisian moderator?
Please elucidate me!
Kind regards,
anaesdoc
it has something to do with our Parisian moderator. I am not sure whether he coined the phrase but apparently it means you can't take the watch off - once the vampire bites he doesn't let go!
I asked the same ( bloody) question a few days ago and got the answer directly from Count Dracula himself. It seems I'm not the only one unfamiliar with some of the lingo here.
cheers
fernando
Hi Fernando,
thanks for explaining the phrase to me and for givng me the consoling insight, I´m not the only goofy around here
.
Have an enjoyable weekend with your TT DSA,
anaesdoc
Another vampire watch, incidentally ...
