The Hublot “Black” was released in very limited numbers early in the Hublot era. I first saw this watch in Monaco the week of the F1 weekend on a driver’s wrist and instantly knew I had to obtain one. Hublot ceased production well short of intended editio...

Seiko is often seen as staid, but, in fact, they have quite a penchant for the fun and unusual. First up, the rotating IZUL, one of my all-time favorites, in action : Next, the Space Walk, the first and only purpose-built watch for extravehicular space us...  

I love the Seiko brand and I personally don´t find it staid at all. As a matter of fact they offer a good catalog of very classic watches but also some daring models as well. Now you confirm this with your IZUL and its awesome and unique rotating feature.... 

Your passion, enthusiasm and being ever the gentleman -- I must try hard to emulate! I'm glad the Seikos were fitting and of some interest!

But a nice vintage is still possible to get… with much patience and a bit of luck. This one in my collection I must thank to our good friend Art who discovered it in Germany, took it to his home in California for a full service and sent it to me arriving ...
