The only watch I have that I consider to be a safe “queen” is this Longines from 1952
It was given by my mother to my father in their engagement- April 5, 1952. You can still read the inscription on the back but I’ve blurred the names in the photo for privacy. If only it were a little larger it might not be a safe queen. 😉 ...

Perhaps if you found a really nice strap. I did that with my grandfathers gold omega. I wear it on special occasions like the day I got married and sometimes around the house.
