Thank you Mike for asking me to judge 'Watch of the Week'
My second time as a WS judge (and 1st on WotW) and it is no less a daunting task with so many excellent timepieces and photography submitted this week.
A whittle down to some contenders of something worn this autumnal weekend:
Horogasm and his beautiful VC overlooking the Singapore skyline:
Crown Comfort with the lovely first edition GP Laureato against the changing leaves:
Fantastic detailed shot of Nilo's IWC:
The GP gang where strong again this week - here's Mr Green's vintage alarm accompanying a sharply dressed evening out:
Great action shot of of an effervescent Speedy dial on a Hong Kong night from Seeks:
And Nicolas having a weekend strap choice dilemma with this gorgeous vintage Blancpain:
Shortys Home & the Breguet XX with sky drifting across the dial:
A recent thread elsewhere contemplated whether 80's & 90's watches would prove as collectable as those of previous decades - the jury was out then, but this fantastic Omega constellation observatory from the mid 90's puts the matter firmly in the positive - nice catch Jeviar!
But there can be only one! - and Christopher Lambert concurs ;-)
And its the beautiful Breguet Tradition 3417 nestled in natures harvest:

I admit the task to judge this week must have been really hard, thus the long deliberation of the jury for sure, but at the end...
...great verdict ! Congrats to all runners up and to the usual winner (isn't it boring Alkiro to always win and leave only the runners up steps of the podium to others ? 😉).

Well, Jev - the discussion was more about the design and movements of the era, rather than Omega per se - great watch btw & see its on the Wrist Shot 3 too! [nt]

Some jump out though - Like your Omega!!
I also like the IWC Ingenieur of the era, plus AP's and PP's don't often loose their design heritage or desirability.
