This is jaw dropping beauty... Of late their products have been simply captivating.
I was mesmerized by the La Tradition fusee chain tourbillon PT I saw a few days ago and now I discovered this boutique exclusive pieces...
BTW, when you mentioned Gong spring, you were simply alluding to the fact that Breguet invented the gong that are used in most of modern day minute repeater right? I looked it up and it seem the gong that Breguet is using is just like gongs from other houses, or am I still missing something?
Very desirable indeed. The looks are better than the sounds IMO (or was it my ear?).
BTW, I went to the boutique and played with the Reveil du Tsar boutique edition (5707) - I love it! The blue hands were darker than I thought but the enamel dial is simply mesmerizing. Looking for the secret signature was fun. The watch was very reasonably priced too...I was really tempted.
Thanks for the great articles and reports. They are dangerous!

than the solid dial. The decoration on the movement is beautiful. 2 questions. Is the time of the striking example 11:57? I counted 10 first(hours), then 3 (for 15 minute quarters?), then 12 for minutes. Also isn't the higher the vph the more accurate the watch? Is there any drop off at 18,800 vph versus 28,800? Thanks for the pictures.

It's a beautiful watch, the intricate carvings visible from the back are especially appealing. Lastly, all of Kong's photos will always make a beautiful watch look even more beautiful.
I'll make no secret of it, I'm not happy with how Breguet minute repeaters sound. I think they have both poor tone and low volume to my ears. I cannot see the you Compared to the minute repeaters of Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Blancpain, I find that Breguets are consistently quieter and lacking in tone. I will reserve my judgement on this piece until I have heard it in person.
Thank you for the excellent post with the plethora of beautiful photographs Kong! Truly a fantastic and informative post about an important Breguet.
