...in the version I saw live, the sub-second did not have a definable edge. It was very subtle and just 'blended' into the main dial if that makes sense...
Maybe it's your photo, but I thought there was only one version of this dial...

Both versions exist. After the one
that’s posted above they they then brought out the model with a one piece enamel dial with the sunken sub seconds area. Quite an achieve actually to make an enamel dial like this. Not many can do that.
Ah there is one other little nuance between the two, the painted numbers are slightly different.
Yes, it appears they made the
numbers bolder and perhaps slightly larger. Both beautiful!
