Well, I am not obsessed at all by the " LE Concept ". Brands most always cheat with this concept.

I usually prefer manual wind but in this case prefer automatic, because it has the retrograde seconds and that beautiful rotor.
What a beautiful timepiece, the 50K price is a tad highā¦not saying it isnāt worth it.
For the price, I need to take a closer look what significant improvements it has over the 7037.
Cant exactly recall but this is at least about 2x the list of 7037 back then? Since I have the 7037, I am not overly excited with this release.

While I love Breguet, it is hard for me to get excited about this āspecialā release to celebrate their 250th. Looks like not much more than a slight tweaking of prior model, albeit with a lovely dial

But, why did they have to put the dedicated 250th anniversary ā Quai de lāHorlogeā motif at 4 oāclock? Is there not plenty of space still on the dial?

Ok 50k is a lot of money but the 7097 ( in fact the same watch but the newer version is I believe 43 )
So you pay about 15% more than the regular production
For 15% more you get a limited edition (250) you get the power reserve hand engraved instead of that little iron tag and you get that enamel dial.
I donāt think 15% more is exaggerated
Very very Breguet, admirable execution, but not for me, I am too classic (hence classique š).

But it is cool to add more hand crafts. Maybe Iām wrong, I recall from when JLC did this, with guilloche then enamel, that itās called flinque enamel?

As an owner of the 7037 I can't help but approve of Breguet selling a nice new version of my watch.
And as a certified cheapskate I also can't help but mention that you could get about four of these for the price Breguet is asking for one.
I like the script logo (a tad too big) but...
...could do without the edition number at 4. Put it on the back of the case. Btw, 38mm x 12.6mm is chunky. That is Submariner thick.
The blue enamel over guilloche has some nice nuance in person.
But IMO not as nice as the deep blue of the Ginza
And while I also love that "pendule" rotor - especially as it largely covers one of the least elegant bridges - the thickness leaves the lugs suspended in mid air above my wrist which doesn't work for me
If I get a Tradition to fit me it will have to be the manual 37x11.8mm case like the 7027 But I then have to accept that bridge
