I prefer the second one, mainly for legibility. In the photos, the blue dial seems to hide the hands.
Dark dial with metal hands and markers are always less legible
It's true on the blue dialed wg Daytona as well, for example.
The second one, the Marine Tourbillon Chronograph, subway more legible. The guilloche dial is slightly darker than the plain marine chrono, but still light enough to be clear.

I prefer the first one (5887) because the overall dial is more in the "Marine spirit" for me (blue colour and dial waves more particularly)

Slightly different price points!
The boutique folks were marvelling at how a tourbillon with perpetual calendar could be so cheap!
It is a very interesting design. I was in NYC last week and they have rotated the prototype out so I was not able to see it. I agree the value proposition is highly relative. [nt]
