Yes, we should be open minded when it comes to vintage omegas, but we should also look at our previous experiences. I have been collecting omegas for many many years and have never seen a red logo on anything other than F300's and quartz so i look at it from a different perspective. Unless i see something factual about the red logo being used on automatic connies i would err on the side of caution and consider the dial as possibly suspect. No definites here, just possibles.

Have you run the case reference through the omega vintage database? That 'should'give you an answer, but even that isnt guaranteed.

That would be my next step on the road to identification.

There are many unusual pieces out there, but also far more frankenwatches.
