Yes, in my opinion Rolex will lost more and more buyers among collectors because as watches aficionados they know other brands, surely more interesting and do not want to pay absurd amounts of money (yes, for me Rolex's prices are becoming just crazy!!)
For something many many people have. They will probably spend their money or maybe even spend more on a less known brand. Personally I would feel angry if after buying a Rolex I would be put on the same level of somebody, who does not care about watches at all. This not because I am a snob but because I do not like people, who acquire something only to show their social status. For this reason I think that Rolex betrayed some of its intrinsic values because also Omega could improve its annual production but they are simply not interested. Best.

I love when Maisons focalize all their attention on the tourbillon put in a prominent position. A stunning example is the MB&F HM7 Aquapod. Best.
I have never seen the HM7 in real but I could imagine its huge dimension. I agree with you that it has a very small wearability.

Vintage Rolex prices will raise more and more so if one wants a vintage Rolex he should in my opinion buy now because although prices are not low they are still human. In some years we will see those still affordable raising to absurd prices.
Another problem with vintage Rolexes is due to the large demand. Many times they have non-original parts so one have to be very focused and should have a big knowledge about what is going to buy. Best.
