For the longest time I wanted a super-legible white dial Speedmaster, and the Snoopy 2 was that watch. The reason: the hands and markers are outlined in black and thus (unlike silvered hands) never fade into the dial in certain angles. I never pulled the trigger on the Snoopy 2 because of the astronomical secondary market price. But now Omega has finally made the equivalent with this regular production model. I bought it a couple of days ago and have been wondering: where have you been all this time?

Ended up going with the 3861 Hesalite, should have it by Wednesday.
There’s certainly a hype factor at play, but the new version is pound for pound better IMHO.
Still, the Snoopy price is out of this world!

I actually sold mine, which is why I was happy to see the white dial introduced. But I am flabbergasted at how the Snoopy price keeps going up.

They made almost two thousand of them so six-seven years down the line you can buy it back at a bargain price… Patience always pays…!
