Wrist size is just under 7"...
... so the largest watch I'll wear is a 42mm Vostok Europe I got at an estate clearance for less than a good watchband. Anything larger looks like I'm wearing my father's watch and won't fit under a cuff. Most comfortable with 34mm to 36mm Seamasters, Constellations, etc.
I wear round watches down to about 30mm and squares down to 27mm.

35.5mm is right for me
I don't like the big, chunky cases. Smaller watches are less prone to the daily bumps and grinds. The size of this Seamaster seems perfect for my wrist size ....

Seamaster Pro chronometer diver's watch at 41mm, and the SMAT (old model, with the 2500 movement) at 39.2mm. These seem to be best. To each his own!

I've tried on the DeepSea and while I do own watches at 44mm and 45mm the DeepSea is just a monster on my wrists. It's not just the 43mm, it's the thickness of the case too.
