Had dinner with a friend who was wearing this. I remembered the watch from the 80s when we used to ski together but had not seen it since. He thought he purchased it in 1976.

If i remember correctly, omega achieved here something outstanding by applying gold to titanium. I dont remember how the process was called, but was defintelly something very special back then.

My near-neighbor mrsnak, who used to visit this forum frequently, has one . . .

I believe that it was designed by Gerald Genta and I think it is called the Seamaster Polaris if it is super light, then the seamster polaris titane hope this helps

the version called Titane. It was made both in steel and gold as well as in titanium and gold. I believe there was a quartz version, as well. My sister wears it now.
