The 2254.50 is a fantastic daily beater.
41 mm wrist presence and quite flat, too.
Soft iron encased to protect it from magnetic fields.
Saphire is only coated from inside so it does not sparkle too much and is very legible.
Legibility is enhanced by the georgous sword hands and the lavish use of superluminova on the dial.
Accuracy? A superlative chronometer!
The 2254.40 was the watch that kindled my interest for watches again, when it came out in 2001.
I noticed it around 2002 and bought one in 2005.
My first serious watch and still in my collection today!
