Those are some great looking new Speedmasters Black Edition Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9908 legibility

 

My two favourites from these new releases are the  Dark Side of the Moon Black Edition Chronometer 9908 which although being a manual wind watch is still somehow 13.02 mm thick and is just a two subdial watch and I do worry a bit about the legibility of it due to how dark it is . My other favourite release is the new Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 Grey Side which again whilst being a 3 subdial watch and having  a higher level of finishing to the dial is actually thinner than the first one being 12.97mm which is not by much but it is thinner. Although I bought my Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 in 2019 it was around half the price of these new models which means an average price increase of a little over 15% per year which seems a little high to me.

To downsize from 44mm… 40-42mm would be more wearable even though ceramic is light in the first place. Size does matter.

if omega wanted to sell them they’d make them smaller than 43.25 with 50 lug to lug 🤷‍♂️

But in-person, all black watches rarely look good IMO. Exceptions being the Hublot Integral and AP ceramics.
