The manager at my AD saw the piece at Omega's dealer event last month. However, they were not allowed cameras and were sworn to secrecy.
They started taking deposits after the event, and I put one down.
Here is what I do know from talking to my AD: It is a stainless steel model with gold accents. Production will be 6969 pieces, with about 10% for the US market. (I have heard numbers ranging from 500 to 700 for the US). The price is $9,600.
Here is what is rumored from information on the forums: The gold accents will be on the bezel and dial, possibly the hands as well.
No gold on the bracelet. They will probably use the same moonshine gold as on the 50th anniversary all gold edition.
Possibly a medallion at the 9 o'clock subdial with an image of the lunar module.
Movement most likely will be the 3861 (same as the all gold edition), not 321.
The presentation box will contain a replica of the lunar module, with the watch somehow attached to it.
As far as the official unveiling, there is supposed to be some event mid May, and rumors are it will be at that time.
