Hi
yes, Omega 30T2 chronometres is certainly one of my themes .... wanted to amend: redial are 11 and 14 and not 11 and 12.
In fact however the redial of 11 is a mistake. Story:
n. 8 is the original first Omega chronometre 30 mm. As described in this thread, it has a pumped up 30T2 caliber, still nickel
plated, but with several chronometer-grade parts but not Omega deluxe finish (pink plating) and no deluxe regulator (butterfly style).
n. 11 represents the transition with the cal 2367, i.e. it has the original stepped case but already the pink 30T2SCRg movement.
When I bought n.11, it had an intolerable redial - so I had one done thinking that it was originally like n.8. Mistake.
I recently came across low the transitional originally was, as this watch was bought by a friend of mine. And this was what n.11
should have looked like ...
Best wishes
Franco

Hi, The balances are cut bimetallic balances with screws and Breguet hairspring as they are found in early Cal. 30, 30 T1, 30T2, 30 SC T1 and 30 SC T2 movement - it is nothing special and they are interchangeable... however in the chronometers they have...
