I've never seen one before, but i can see where it is placed in the Dynamic range. Possibly one of the last models as tastes changed away from the Oval 'space age' models back towards more conventional shaped watches. Enjoy it and dont make it a stranger ...

According to the serial number on your movement it is in a 1974 number range. Best Thomas

As I mentioned in the post I figured the catalog was wrong about it being manufactured "circa 1970".

Omega. My quick research (I may be wrong) shows that is a ST 166.0187: From Omega database we have: International collection 1973 Movement Type: Automatic (mechanical) Caliber number: 1012 Created in 1973 23 jewels Central sweep-second hand Functions Date...  

I'm pretty sure that mine has a 1022 movement. Might the difference in movement number (1022 vs 1012) reflect the addition of the day function? I like the starburst design on the top of the case of yours.

If you hadn't mentioned where I could find the bracelet it might still be on the original strap. The sources I had previously tried proved to be futile. I was almost to the point of buying a reproduction off a popular internet auction site!

..only easy to find place I've found for authentic new bracelets for vintages. You might try our Australian source (think SM300), as he seems to get around... Other than that, It's trying to find an old one for sale.
