Omega

Dear all, Just bought this beautiful Omega no: 14381 82 with 551 caliber. Can anyone help me identify when it has been produced, value etc. Thanks in advance. Klaus. ...  

. . . and the dial and hands appear original to my eyes. The crown, though, is a replacement that doesn't conform to the original design, and should be replaced if at all possible. Can you share the movement number with us? We prefer not to discuss value ... 

....model, being the deluxe version of the 14381. Late use of arrowhead markers (last seen in the 14902) makes this a nice collectible piece. The serial number of the movement will tell you roughly when the movement was produced, but 1961, as DrNo suggest...
