Omega

Swiss WW1 era wristwatch was made by Omega ca. 1915. Is this watch Real and original? Can anyone give me some more info about iit?...  

Looks more like a later Calibre 43 to me: ...but the "Omega" lettering looks different. The serial number is not visible, nor any other markings on the plate... The silver casing bears a German Hallmark... I can't identify the maker. ???...  

It looks like a modified pocket watch. I wonder......

HI MasterBlaster That is an original Omega case, Omega movement. This watch started out as a open faced pocket watch. The lugs were added and the dial a later manufacture. FYI: Omega has never made a time only watch with sub seconds at nine ( at lest from... 

I thought that was the case. Something about that watch looked modified. Thank for clearing it up bill.
