. . . as the earliest production of this reference dates to the late '30s. Shock protection first appeared in the late '40s, to the best of my knowledge. So, unless there was a gap in production batches, I'd expect a /3 to not have shock protection.
I'll do more research when I get home in a few hours, but for the time being, keep your powder dry. The case, dial, hands, and crown all look good to me, but I'm concerned about the movement production date being in line with the release date of the watch.
