Dear Omega collectors and experts... As I was looking for a Vacheron Vintage Chronograph, I chanced upon a Omega ref 2077 with 33.3 movement. Vintage Vacheron are plagued with restored dials and authentic issues, My question is does the ref 2077 also have...  

The difference between a Vacheron 4072 and these Omega 33.3? The size, some 33.3 being bigger than the Vacheron ( circa 38 mm ), and the Vacheron would be let's say more... Exquisite, refined? Still, some 33.3 are highly appealing. Here is one I am harass...  

how important is 33.3 movement compared to the Vacheron's? Also, any tell sign or concern about legitimate dial? How's the one I post? Lastly, can you share with me here or on pm the pricing of such piece? Thank yo very much

. . . as the earliest production of this reference dates to the late '30s. Shock protection first appeared in the late '40s, to the best of my knowledge. So, unless there was a gap in production batches, I'd expect a /3 to not have shock protection. I'll ... 

. . . with a shock protected movement dating to 1950, so the one you're looking at is probably a-ok. I'll do a bit more research later this afternoon, but for now, rest easy. Art

May I ask what vintage chronograph do you like? between 13ZN and 33.3 movement, which would you prefer?

I am thinking of either this Rose Gold Longines or the Omega I posted above. This Longines is 10k more expensive than the Omega and is 4k more than the price of a restored Vacheron 4178 Les Collectionuure series. Is it way too expensive? Sorry for not sta...
