I own the watch since 2 years and it is a complete gem in all aspects. I wrote once in this forum that if it would be PP or a big crown offering, it would sell for multiple times more and it would be impossible to source. It is an outstanding watch and co... 

Try it as a project if you like.

I have a Apollo 11 45 Anniversary, only owner, never worn, receipt from AD and all box and papers. It’s been in my safe since 2014. I got it new like $6k selling used like $9k now. It’s a project of mine to auction it at like a Sothebys in 30 years, just ... 

I was thinking of also doing basically what you just said... Buying it and sitting on it for awhile..

And forget about the one you buy. I think I had like 7 other OMEGAs I wore among other brands, it’s okay to mix it up in my opinion. I guess I just would not make a business out of it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can do that as I have 3 other Omegas already, a JLC..

and just traded in my IWC Pilot for a Grand Seiko Snowflake.. which is on the way.. So i definitely see myself wearing a Speedy and the Snowflake alot for the foreseeable future! -D-

If you buy at the right price, disposing of it later on won't be a problem..

Not quite the investment, but at least a "decent" store of value. I'm thinking it's relatively also easy to move over time. Just get one, enjoy it for what it is and assess from there. Personally, I think there's a long term upside to it. Maybe not Sotheb...
