Omega

... and in coincidence with the watch I have been wearing during this week, I wish to share a few shots of my old Omega. It is a reference 2505-31 from circa 1948 (my birth year by the way so I'm as vintage as my watch! Lol!). This watch has a caliber 265...  

... and I like to wear it from time to time. It is a "safe watch" to wear in my not so safe streets, while alowing to enjoy a beautiful vintage watch on the wrist. Gracias mi amigo!! Un abrazo!! Abel

. . . alongside a center seconds 2545. [ref 2544 left, ref 2545 right] These two belong to Hoi, and were posted here six years ago. If my eyes aren't playing tricks, the sweep seconds version is cased in pink gold. Now that's extraordinary! Art ...

A close cousin to my 2400 Suverän! So many lovely details in a "at first look" plain dial. The silver mirror on the 12, the leaf hands, the mix of circular and triangular indexes.... Congrats, my friend! Best Blomman
