Trying on three Moonwatches
Last December, I stopped by at an Omega boutique in Paris and tried on these three Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional timepieces. All have a 42 x 13,18 x 47,5 mm case and are powered by caliber Omega 3861 . Which one is your favorite ? Best, Emmanuel Stee...

I would do the plexi 3861, I even have a custom see through caseback waiting for it.
The hesalite is very nice indeed,

Gold is my favorite
It just hits so well in-person. Have come close to buying one a few times but I don’t think I’d actually want to wear a full gold watch out much. The white dial is beautiful because of the applied markers, I wish they did this with other models.

I love the looks with the gold and green. But I don’t wear full gold bracelet watches so will defer to white dial
From these three I would choose the white dial.
Why? Because that is a version I still do not own 😊🤫
The 42mm case…
Does not fit me best (the smaller 39,5 without the lyre lugs works better on my wrist). But of the three I guess I would go for the white lacquer dial one, for the black dial I would - again personal fit argument prefer the 321 powered one instead 😊
42 mm is a bit large indeed.
The Ed White is of course particularly attractive. But, all in all, I'm not enough in love with the Speedy to want one. So, none of the three is really for me. Best, Emmanuel

That has applied to me so far, too 😂 The second generation Snoopy I would gladly take but those are now at a price point where for me it no longer corresponds to the value the watch would have to me 🤷🏻♂️
For me, it's a bit like the Reverso: too many have been made and some of the charm is diluted.
Just my feeling of course. As for the Snoopy, I find it too gimmicky, personally! 😇

Though I like them with hesalite usually. Hoping to see one over the Xmas break.
The white is appealing indeed.
And I agree that the hesalite is "the way to go". That said, I'm not sufficiently enamoured with the Speedy to really want one.

gold and white dial…maybe because I have had the hesalite a few times, and prefer that over the sapphire. The gold looks really nice on you.

No, not at all! It's an appealing watch . . .
. . . but as a new, regular production, model it goes against the grain for what I consider a regular production Professional. I'm drawn to many of the prior limited edition white dial models, especially . . . . . . the Apollo 25th anniversary ca '94, but...
