Riddle me this…

From the beginning, long preceding Omega’s technical ”awakening” of recent years, I was drawn to the Planet Ocean by its bold, daring use of orange.

Fast forward to current executions that final pull me off the fence and into the world of Omega. But WAIT! I’m told that the new Planet Ocean 600m (maybe just ceramic?) will NOT accept any other straps, most notably, OEM orange rubber or leather.

Can anyone confirm or deny? This is a disturbing development IMO when (if) Omega denies a feature that helped define the Planet Ocean .

Wish Omega made a ceramic bracelet for this model…having said that IMO one of the finest divers ever made….and I mean EVER. I own the steel version but want to upgrade to the ceramic. I would not let the strap issue stop you from owning this superb piece😉...

What would a “real” WIS do?

Perhaps the solution is to get the Black Ceramic AND the stainless on orange strap. Two watches, one solution. Problem solved? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had to purchase a non-Omega strap.

In my case I wanted a black strap with orange stitching to replace the Nato strap. I twice ordered the strap from Omega through my AD and both times the technician who tried to attach it said it was too wide. The only straps Omega offers on its website in...

Nice combo

I checked with Horus straps and the confirmed that theirs won’t fit. So now I’m looking into custom options.
