The luminous on the standard fat arrow is quite ugly, and going towards green tones. Many got it relumed, and some artists can make it as grainy or puffed as they want, including the colour. I know of two italian watchmakers who have a stock of old hands and dials, which they can scrape to obtain aged tritium and even radium ! I do not dare to think how they protect themselves from handling the radium .....
