Omega Museum Collection 1945 - It had to be mine ...

Team,

Years back a dear friend made a great catch in front of me. He was so excited that I held my deep desire to have it.

Time passes and one day, learning that I had a dinner on the shopping mall that also includes the Omega Boutique, he asked if I could drop the watch there because of a minor issue on the chronograph hand that was somehow bent.

I did this and since the watch was there on my own name, I teased him that the watch was in fact mine, that I had the Omega invoice as a proof.

Time passes and today he decided to let go the watch.

Could say no and now it's mine, for real.

Here is the beauty: The OMEGA Museum Collection 2003 - the first chronograph in the Museum Collection.

The watch uses the caliber 3200, manual winding (F. Piguet), column wheel controlled.

In B&W (sorry for the iPhone pic, some day I will do better pictures and a quick review).

Happiness on a small piece of steel. wonderful.

Now, I need to hunt more pieces of this series (not the gold ones, of course).

Cheers,

Nilo
