Dear All, Just a very visual review about the Omega Apollo 11 50th Anniversary that I received today ! Initially I wasn't so convinced about the watch: I do have my fair share of Moonwatches so I thought... I wouldn't need another one but in person the wa...

It is indeed very nice and ..in person is very different than on the photos. At least this was my feeling because I didn't really go in today to buy it...but it was really too good to pass !

enough to always remain interesting, even after some years of owning this watch. The full gold version could be a little bit better in that perspective, however, when i consider the price i would say it is very plausible to choose the SS version. I must s... 

is not like a "classic" Moonwatch but I already have more classic models so for me it did the trick. Curious that you mention the box ! Is really a very special one and I have to admit that had an influence too (how crazy..I know). The full gold is a gorg... 

because of the moonshine gold that is a very nice touch ! The other Moonwatches (with the exception with the titanium/sedna gold one and the snoopy ) are closer to the "classic" Speedmaster so it is different. Also the bracelet is definitely better, thinn...

then I learned that you boss is using is so I thought this would fit me better frankly I didn't expect to get it. I went to see this and the moonshine one and I thought I would go for the gold because is very special. The one I saw was reserved so I thoug... 

so this SS version makes sense. Many owners like this bracelet better than the Trilogy due to it's thinness, comfy level and clasp. The velcro has touches of gold which complements the dial/bezel really well. Enjoy and congrats!

After seeing hundreds of photos now I am beginning to integrate a deeper picture. Sigh, still waiting for the call from my OB... Wear in good health.

A watch buddy told me to buy a speedy. He said, it is a great investment. My thing is, i can only buy watches which i like. So, buying a speedy is for me only investment and let the watch into the stickers. But... i can not refuse a speedy, because it is ... 

stocks etc. are I buy only watches I like too and -- perhaps important -- that I can wear.

is a beautiful watch. I love your photos. Still not sure how much I like Buzz’s ladder shot, but I understand why Omega used this image.

but in real is not that big or annoying I think it fits the purpose of the watch which is to celebrate the event.

Wonderfully done, no question about that! But, I did not like the blue-grey background... 🤷🏼‍♂️😉

indeed some elements of the watch are not "classic speemaster" the background too..now that you mention it is really a blue grey more than grey..I wasn't really on the list but when they offered it to me it was sort of love at first sight

In short i feel the same way and have given it much wrist time. I find it easy to match for the weekday or the weekend! Here’s mine checking in and for me it is a keeper ! Best regards ...
