A watch buddy told me to buy a speedy.
He said, it is a great investment.
My thing is, i can only buy watches which i like.
So, buying a speedy is for me only investment and let the watch into the stickers.
But... i can not refuse a speedy, because it is a good watch.
Your speedy have a special back, that footstep on the moon.

Not a huge Omega fan but i do like this watch a lot . Love that black/gold and that bracelet looks amazing too .

It is indeed very nice and ..in person is very different than on the photos. At least this was my feeling because I didn't really go in today to buy it...but it was really too good to pass !

because of the moonshine gold that is a very nice touch ! The other Moonwatches (with the exception with the titanium/sedna gold one and the snoopy ) are closer to the "classic" Speedmaster so it is different. Also the bracelet is definitely better, thinn...

Lol....like you said, the full MG is not for routine wear in our case...
so this SS version makes sense. Many owners like this bracelet better than the Trilogy due to it's thinness, comfy level and clasp. The velcro has touches of gold which complements the dial/bezel really well. Enjoy and congrats!

I don't think watches are an investment...
stocks etc. are I buy only watches I like too and -- perhaps important -- that I can wear.
I the 50th anniversary Speedy
is a beautiful watch. I love your photos. Still not sure how much I like Buzz’s ladder shot, but I understand why Omega used this image.
I agree..I also wasn't sure about that...
but in real is not that big or annoying I think it fits the purpose of the watch which is to celebrate the event.
I wanted to buy it initially and was on the very early receipiant list...

indeed some elements of the watch are not "classic speemaster" the background too..now that you mention it is really a blue grey more than grey..I wasn't really on the list but when they offered it to me it was sort of love at first sight
