Hi Purists, I wanted to reach out before I committed to an expensive false dawn and hope to hear your advice and feedback. I’ve tried researching and whilst I have got a lot of opinions I’ve yet to get absolute confirmation that the 1565/976 bracelet fits...

Thanks Art, Certainly helpful, most of the forums show pics with the watch face on and it doesn’t show wether there is a gap where the end links meet the head. On that thread one pic shows it to be seamless the other shows a gap so I’m no further forward.... 

And say the bracelet isn’t designed for CK2998. In short buy before your try..

Took the plunge and bought the 1565/976. Despite having been burnt by the older vintage style 1125 which showed a gap. For anyone looking I can confirm the newer racing style bracelet fits like a glove - very very happy with this ...
